UKIAFT Annual Meeting and Conference
Bournemouth University, 10th & 11th September 2015



The two day Bournemouth conference, on the 10th and 11th September, will include the UKIAFT AGM on the Thursday morning, with scientific sessions running on Thursday afternoon, Friday morning and Friday afternoon.

The conference will be held at Bournemouth University Talbot Campus which is approximately a 10 minute bus ride from the town centre.

We are now inviting papers and poster presentations for submission. Papers and posters may be submitted in all areas of forensic toxicology e.g. Cases studies, Method development and analytical techniques, New Psychoactive Substances, Pharmacogenomics, Drugs in Oral Fluid and Alternative Matrices, Driving Under the Influence of Drugs (DUID), Drug Associated Crime. The closing date for submission of abstracts is Friday 26th June. Abstracts should be submitted electronically as Microsoft Word files to UKIAFT2015@gmail.com. Authors are requested to indicate whether they would prefer a platform or poster presentation. (Please note that depending upon the number of requests for platform presentations and the limited amount of time available for platform presentations it may be necessary for the program team to change requests for platform presentations to posters). Notification of abstract acceptance (poster or platform presentation) will be sent to the presenting author by e-mail by 24th July. Authors must register for the conference by 1st August. One author at least per submitted paper must be registered for the Meeting; abstracts for which no author has registered for the conference will not be included in the conference listings.

The conference registration fee is £140 for delegates and £85 students. Registration fee includes admission to all lectures, the manufacturer’s exhibition, posters, light refreshments (morning coffee, buffet sandwich lunch, afternoon tea) and the conference dinner and Ceilidh on 10th September. Delegates wishing to bring a partner to the Dinner and Ceilidh may book a ticket for £50 by arrangement in advance with the organizing committee.
